She has always experimented with
new techniques and somehow
recruited friends and family
members to become the subject of
her photographs.
Graduating from the University of
Wyoming with a B.S. in journalism
along with her knowledge and
experience in photography, she
incorporates the photojournalism
aspect in her portraits while
capturing the true spirit of each
client.
As a wedding photographer, Ricki
focuses on the documentation
style as well as showing the real
moments as they unfold, while still
embracing the traditional formal
portraits but in a relaxed and
natural way.

Ricki loves to hike with her
husband artist Darrell R. Sweet
which allows her to explore the
beautiful landscape and
photograph her favorite subjects,
unique trees, plants and
mountains that surround the area.
She is hoping to open a studio so
she can work indoors with her
clients during the cold months.
