| "By utilizing a photojournalistic approach to my wedding and portrait photography, I create photos that are as unique as the client's individual style," she says. Ricki has over 10 years of experience and knowledge in the newspaper and advertising business. Nine of them are with the Cody Enterprise in advertising sales, which makes her extremely knowledgeable in other aspects of photography such as, commercial, marketing, fashion, architecture, jewelry, artwork, and editorial photography to name a few. Ricki's sales job has also allowed her to become a better communicator which transfers to her photography business. She works with each individual personally to reach the end result of the client's photo story. Ricki shows the real moments of the wedding couple's special day as it unfolds, while still embracing a few formal portraits traditionally, throwing in a few creative poses so there is more variety to the photographs. Ricki also photographs seniors, family, babies, maternity and anything you can think of is up for the challenge. Another aspect of photography she really enjoys in her free time is black and white fine art. Ricki hikes with her husband and takes advantage of the beauty that surrounds the Cody area. She loves to photograph mountains, trees and scenery and is inspired by Ansel Adams' black and white photography. "The next time you need something unique, edgy, fun, or even crazy, let's see where it will take us, THE FOCUS IS ON YOU." |
